Jennifer is a Masters of Social Work student at the University of Texas at Arlington and is completing her advanced year practicum at CBCP. Her primary interests are in grief and loss, parenting and in navigating family relationship dynamics. She believes that people come from varied backgrounds and circumstances which have a profound impact on their well-being and that an eclectic approach to healing is important. She believes that fostering resilience and self-growth, overcoming past trauma, recognizing negative patterns of behavior and improving communication skills are key components to leading a fulfilling life experience. She utilizes solution-based therapy and mindfulness.

Jennifer has a large family which keeps her busy. When she is not studying or keeping up with her family, she enjoys hiking with friends, gardening and bee-keeping, learning languages and sitting still. She also spends a lot of time day-dreaming about living in Spain.
