Anna’s preferred counseling approach is relational therapy which focuses not only on the individual but also on how they interact with the key players in their life. She continuously explores other theories, specifically Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Bowen’s Family systems, Internal Family Systems, and an attachment-based perspective.

She has a passion for working with clients who deal with experiences such as ADHD, adult children of alcoholics or dysfunctional families, family system issues, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and couples looking to understand and communicate better with their partners.

As someone diagnosed with ADHD herself, Anna believes negative messages often absorbed from living in a world not designed for neurodivergent folks are under-processed in more traditional strategy-based therapy frequently used for clients with ADHD. She strives to foster a neurodivergent-affirming space with her clients.
