Counseling
Lauren practices under the belief that your power as an individual is your own innate ability to seek the core things you need and want most out of life. She creates a safe space for you to explore how past experiences might impact how you navigate your journey through life in the present. Lauren supports you through compassion, authenticity, empathy, and a strong therapeutic relationship to overcome obstacles and challenges. Lauren brings a broad focus on therapy, and specializes in helping you deal with
relationship issues, life adjustments, anxiety, depression, ADD, OCD, and loss and grief. She uses a dominantly strengths-based existential approach, but also draws from narrative therapy, CBT and attachment theories.
Lauren graduated from George Washington University with a master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling. Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate (LPC-A) in Texas. She completed her internship at a Community Counseling Center as well as a non-profit organization specializing in traumatic brain injuries. In Lauren’s free time, she enjoys spending time outside on the lake, hiking, or anywhere in the sun with her 5-year-old rescue pup. Lauren holds a special space in her heart for
animals.
